Participated in the Canon Photo Marathon held at Suntec Convention Hall yesterday. Arrived at 9.10am when registration closes at 9am. We were lucky some dood let us register!! :D:D Otherwise it'd be a wasted trip.
That's me in the Canon shirt we had to wear. It's nice right! :D But it's super long. Longer than my pants okay!!
Hilma and my tag. Don't you think the tag's seriously cool? I feel like some important person HAHA! That's my chinese name btw. It's pronounced as zhi3 wei1, not zhi4 wei1 okay. Call me that and I'll keeeeeeeel you.
The first theme we had to shoot was
Changes. What kind of sophisticated topic is that right! I wanted to take the changing room, with someone changing. But in the end so many other photographers wanted to do that. So in the end I took some other picture which I'm too lazy to post.
Anyway we went to Plaza Sing for breakfast! :D And then we shopped around a little since we already took the pictures that we'd submit.
This is a cool shop. They sell really funny signs and games. I saw this director's sign and I really want it omg! And there's those sex board games that's really interesting. Interesting. Not that I'm interested okay. And also there's this remote controller to "control" man, and woman. The buttons are super funny lah!
Went to Daiso after that.
This is Hilma looking like a retard. HAHAHA. Nice hair hor?
Cool strawhat and cool Sharon. HAHAHA Hilma is crazy! And my hair so long already I look emo. Time to chop.
Hilma's photog lanyard broke. So sad right.
We saw these interesting lanyards at Daiso!! And me being the irritating me, decided that we should buy the lanyard!!!!
We wore those lanyards almost immediately. HAHAHA. We were SUPER excited! With the Canon shirt + Staff lanyard, a lot people stared at us. They must have thought "WOW! So young become Canon's staff liao! SO pro!" HAHAHAHAHAHA and we kept laughing. Damn cheap thrill but it's like the highlight of the day!!!!
So after that we rushed back to Suntec cause the dateline for the first theme was up. But you can't forget that I'm a direction idiot. Hilma is a worse idiot. And if you put 3 idiots (1 Hilma = 2 direction idiots) together, you're bound to get lost! And that's what we got! WE GOT LOST!!!!!
The dateline's 12.50pm, and we reached only at 1.08pm. The guy at the queue didn't let us submit. :( So we stood around looking sad, then some guy came to ask if we wanted to submit the photos!! HAHAHAHAHAA. So I said, "REALLY?!" and he gave a "ya faster! Don't get caught" face. WAHAHAHHAHA. And so we submitted! There's so many nice people at Canon, I wanna be their staff too!
The second theme was
Dreams. Another sophisticated one! I thought of calling Hilma to model as a woman who wants to get pregnant. So she'd look into the mirror, wearing maternity clothes, and looking hopeful and dreamy. HAHAHAHAHA sounds retarded but it's nice okay!
So Hilma thought of something also. She wanted me to wear some man blouse and those working pants. I'd look into the mirror looking sad. Then I suggested putting my hands on my boobs, and drawing a moustache. So I'm a girl that dreams of being a man.

But in the end we can't because no changing room! And we can't take photos there! OH MAN SO SAD! So nevermind lor we took some other picture and went to submit, like 45 mins after they announced the theme. :D

After printing I slept at the hall for around an hour. Hilma went out to take photos. Then I saw this stupid asshole pointing a telephoto lens at me!!! WTH WTH WTH. Then later I told Hilma about it and she said while I was sleeping so many people were pointing their cameras at me. EH SERIOUSLY, can't I sleep? So now some stupid random doods have photos of me sleeping with my mouth open.

The third theme was
Freedom.
After that Hilma and I went to join Teckquan, Yanjie and Tianyong for some shopping. I have two new discoveries! Yanjie is really funny and cute! Tianyong is really nice! :D
And guys shop with an objective. Also, we shoppped at 4 malls in around 2 hours. Seriously, I always shop 2 malls in 1 day. They pro or I noob?
Went home after awhile cause Hilma had to go to some birthday party. Accompanied her to take the purple line. I swear she'd get lost if I didn't follow. HAHAHAHA.
And so I alighted at Kovan to take the bus home. AND ON THE WAY!!!! I saw this guy that looks like my primary school friend that takes the same school bus as me!! Can't remember his name though. HAHAHAHA. Oh awesome memories. I remember doing stupid stuff with my friends in the bus everyday cause the journey from Sengkeng to Hougang to Serangoon is just too long. I doubt he recognises me though. HAHAHA.

Tomorrow's the beginning of my brother's 'O' Levels!! And my cousin's as well! Shall SMS them later hehe. Do well okay guys!!!!! :D:D Let's go out after that!
Because of O's, my brother didn't visit this weekend. :( He wanted to eat my ahma's cooking (my brother is so cute!) and so I da-paoed some for him.
Don't you think I'm the world's awesomest sister? :D
