DIY: Floral Full Circle Skirt

I feel so accomplished, cause I just sewed my first ever skirt!!!!! :D :D :D Wore it to school today, and it didn't split! HOORAY!!!

Some photos!


Trying to pin up the hem, but failed because it's sooo blooody looong!!!! If there's anything stopping me from making the skirt again is the amount of cloth I had to hem!!


And I mentioned that I'm scared of sewing zips, and I REALLY STILL AM!! This time I didn't really mess up, but the invisible zipper wasn't as invisible as I wanted it to be! Still happy though, and lucky that my skirt is dark blue, so it wasn't THAT visible!

No more photos cause I was so stressed out! But lo and behold!!!!


LALALALA!!!! I wore it for the first day of my internship! The length is just nice, 18"! The waist is sadly a bit big because when I measured it I was really full and so my stomach was bloated HAHAHAHHAA.


LALALA!!!!! I couldn't stop twirling around!!!! It looks so sweet with a tube! I love how full and twirly and smooth the skirt is, as compared to a gathered skirt with all the creases at the top!


And finally here's a close up of the prints! See how the skirt flows down so prettily! Really love the material and print of the cloth! Ultra good buy!!

SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!!!!!!
