Dear Dude Incharge of MOE,
I think that the Chemistry Science Practical Assessments (SPA) are a complete waste of time and resources. This is especially true for Skill D.
In Skill D, we have to identify significant sources of errors, limitations of measurements or experimental procedures.
Since we have identified them, shouldn't we use them to modify our experiments to make them more accurate, instead of making the errors purposely just to write about it?
In the generic mark scheme, we have to
state and explain the errors and limitations. I think it is more like MEMORISE the errors and limitations.
This is ridiculous because it requires no skills whatsoever. It is just a waste of time, resources and memory space because all we have to do is to memorise and then regurgitate. So it means that, we eat and then VOMIT it out. What's the use of it?
I think this is bullshit. But this bull is actually 20% of our A Level results. Please do not tell me that I am wrong for writing this entry unless you tell me a good and persuasive reason for this assessment.
And I HAVE to do it because it's my A Levels. Hurhur. Do I have a choice?
The stupid Skill D should be scraped.
