While I might not agree with the Animal Rights fully, I do believe wholeheartedly that animals shouldn't be skinned, or even used for games, for entertainment. Gosh. Where should I even begin!
I don't know. Animals skin don't make you healthier, fitter, or prettier. It has no use. Not at all. People skin animals only for greed and vanity. After robbing them off their skin, they're left to rot and die. Left out there to gasp for air, skinless, dying. I don't see how this is justifiable.
Heck, I don't even understand why some people can do this in cold blood.
Similarly, people eat foie gras for? Fun? The ducklings are thrown away / killed by suffocation after those ruthless people extract them off their liver. Liver. WTF. I don't know. I'm fine with the working of the food chain with humans on top, but at least be less cruel as we go about it?
Well you may argue that animals have no feelings, no emotions, and it's perfectly alright to kill them. Humans are of higher intelligence and we have feelings and emotions. That's why we can kill animals and use them to our own benefits.
If you watch the video you'd see how they go about killing the animals. It's ruthless. It's cruel. So this is what humans, with FEELINGS, with EMOTIONS, with INTELLIGENCE, are made of.
But it is precisely the fact that we have emotions, thoughts, whatever, that we should we should sympathise. We should be more humane (and then people will start arguing that humane is a word used on humans, not animals). Is it really true that animals have no feelings or emotions?
I'm not familiar with the workings of the animal rights. What I do know is that it is agreed that animals should no longer be regarded as property, or used as food, clothing, research subjects, or entertainment, but should instead be viewed as legal persons and members of the moral community. (Wikipedia) While I might not be so extreme in my views, I do agree that animals shouldn't be used as clothing, research subjects or entertainment.
I'm not an argumentative person (LOLOL) and I can't debate well. I'm just sharing what I feel. Please don't purposely go find loopholes in what I say and argue with me hor thank you.
