DIY: Various Nails

I got hooked on to painting my nails since January cause I had absolutely nothing to do. Here's some pictures of my nails from January up till now, with a mini How-to since some people have been asking!! OMG I am such a hiao charboh :> I think my nails are turning yellowish.


Metallic blue with blue glittery gradient. Was kinda proud of the gradient thing until Kuanzy say I look like monster with my nails -_-

How-to: Paint with metallic blue, then paint the bottom part with glitter. Slowly "dot" your way up, decreasing the amount of "dots" at the top.


Pink leopard prints!!

How-to: Paint light pink base. Dot nails all over with hot pink nail polish. Outline with black nail polish. Black nail polish don't have to be too neat.


Pink with glitter tips!

How-to: Paint pink base, then anyhow draw the tips. French tips are so bloody hard to draw tt's why I love glitter. Can anyhow dot.


Darker pink with grey glitter tips. Ugly.

How-to: See above.


Love this shade of pink!!! :>

How-to: It's so easy if you don't know you're joke.


Painted black stripes over the previous one cause lazy change color, don't waste effort.

How-to: This is the toughest I've ever done, and it's not even that nice. I used art brush with the smallest tip. Dap into black nail polish. You gotta remove the excess dripping polish into the bottle otherwise it'll become a huge splotch on your nails. Slowly draw the line. Go google "zebra prints" for reference. Lines must be thin and clean if not it'll just look dirty (like my index finger in pic above).


Nude!! My most favourite. It's so simple and nice.

My shortest-lived nail. Removed it in 1 hour cause it looked too dirty. It's leopard prints (nude + brown) with black french tips.

How-to: For leopard prints, see above. For french tips, it's a disaster.


Red with white polka dots! I like! It's my current nails now! :>

How-to: Paint red base, then add white polka dots. Must remove the excess dripping-down into bottle if not it'll end up a splotch.

Anyway, you know what sucks? Yesterday while I was removing that ugly nude leopard prints, I accidentally spill nail polish remover on my keyboard! WTF my keys got a little frozen and after awhile it turned white. Couldnt type at all. Sad.

I'm using a new keyboard now and it's so hard to type. Urgh.

Of a Complex Relationship between Robots and Us

It's pretty sad actually. I feel like I am turning into a robot. There's so many similarities between us students and robots don't you think? Especially with the fixed seating arrangements due to H1N1! Gosh!!

Anyway this is just a nonsense post LOLOLOL.


Robotic people wearing a familiar uniform

1. We memorise and regurgitate information. Robots have memory cards to remember information.


2. We follow a crazy timetable closely. Robots are programmed to follow their algorithm or what shit stuff.


3. We have to complete all our homeworks everyday. Robots have a set of tasks they have to complete as well. Maybe clean the floor? Or spin around in circles. I don't know what robots do lah.


4. We have fixed seating arrangements. Robots have their own cells that they live in to charge battery HAHAHAHA. If you watch Sci-fi lah! It's like a white room with holes in the walls!


5. We learn how to press GC. Robots press themselves.


6. We must follow orders if not teachers/parents angry. Robots must follow orders if not programmer/owner angry.


7. We must reproduce constants (like Faraday's constants etc) and mathematical tables like our life depends on it. Robots are programmed to reproduce those stuff.


8. We got different modes like School mode, Play mode, Exam mode, CCA mode. Robots got different profiles (like our handphone got Silent mode, Outdoor mode!)


9. We have fried brains. Robots got no brains.


10. We have hot and stuffy uniform like an ARMOUR. Robots have hard metallic bodies.


11. We take our temperature twice a day in case of a temperature. Robots must install fans to make sure they don't overheat.

Anyway I think I am slowly getting used to the crazy timetable cause I'm a robot so I must get use to it if not I become scrape metal.

Okay I just feel particularly nonsenseical today so this post doesn't really make any sense. I feel like punching someone. I think it will feel good. I don't know cause I've never punched anyone before.

On Friday I missed school cause I wasn't feeling the best, and I needed sleep desperately. Took the day to rest, recharge, and find inner peace LOL. Woke up in the afternoon and packed my table/ shelves. Now my Lecture notes are back to my PCME arrangement by chapters, and by tutorials. I am a happy girl now hohoho. Hopefully this will make me more motivated to study since my stuff are finally in order!!

But before that I need more more more motivation!! I don't feel any sense of urgency. My friends are like getting endless tuitions and whatnots. Everyone's saying 4 months 4 months but I don't feel anything. What's the matter with me? :(:( I am stressing out because I don't feel stressed. Anyone get me? Anyone feeling what I am feeling now?


Drew this today. Got several of the eyes images off google search cause I wanted to practice drawing eyes. Next up I'd practice drawing hair. It's funny how I like to do such nonsense things and how much I hate studying. I can rant on forever but I guess I won't do so here. Maybe I'd do it in my private journal hoho.

Anyway school is gonna be really boring, gosh. We're now banded into different bands for different subjects. We got our Maths banding already and I am in Band 1, which is plain weird considering the fact that I didn't do 51 marks worth of stuff for Paper 2. For Chemistry I just hope that I won't do too badly cause I am infinitely scared of Ms Ong. Please let me pass Econs I wanna pass Econs please please please!!!!!!

Pulau Ubin trip next Saturday with Kuan Gina Hils. I am super looking forward!!!! I need a break I need to go out I need to take photos I need to have fun I need to eat good food I NEED GOOD COMPANY!!! ♥♥♥♥

1. The first one I think my attempt at a joke is quite funny HAHAHHAHA I amuse myself too much sometimes.

2. Self explanatory. Hilma has vampire teeth. Check her teeth out. You'll never know, she might actually be a vampire? :S

3. Maths makes me emo. I drew this cause I was emo while doing Maths. How retarded LOL.

4. I killed 2 houseflies and 2 regular flies and injured 1. The mosaic part is actually the fly's dead body. It's too gross cause there was the gooey parts eew.

I am the Legendary Fly Killer/ a ninja. Whatever, lol, it sounds like I'm some new brand of pesticide. But seriously, how often do you kill a housefly? Or TWO? B) AND I ♥ the drawing of the ninja me! I know ninjas tie up their hair but I am cool I let down my hair.

Sian sian, studying is especially sian when you're sick. FML.

I craaaveee for Cupwalker but I had a terrible experience with the Pasir Ris Interchange outlet. :( BUT!!!!!! I shall give them the benefit of doubt and try again on Monday. (Actually, it's because I'm just too lazy to go to the Ehub one)

Gosh it's 3.44am already. Once again, my body clock is officially screwed.

Well the consolation is... I have a new CPU. Have to fix it by tonight because I'd start work on Tuesday. Gosh.

Xiurong and I went to Jurong East today for some job briefing. We were really tired and we took the train to Boonlay (to secure seats LOL kiasu Singaporeans) and then alllllll the way back to Simei. We slept allllll the way. And when I sleep my head tends to swing left right center. Oh unglamness.

When I was bathing I suddenly remembered that Andrea's the name of the first friend I made in primary school.

Isabelle is the first friend I made on the school bus because she stays very near me (which is a big deal then because my school's in Sengkang and everyone stays in Sengkang and Hougang and nobody in Serangoon). We always fall asleep on the bus on the way to school and somehow she'll wake up when the bus reaches school, and then she'll wake me up.

I used to think that's really amazing. Like she knows magic.

My First Canvas Shoe Art!

WAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. I'm very very excited right now I can't wait for school for the very first time in my life! :D I am very proud of my creation!!!!!! :D:D

Well, Xiurong and I went to Art Friend today to hunt for my fabric markers. Thank you girlfriend! Hahahaha. Had a long talk with her... but more like I talk and she listen.

Well, after a very very long time and tons of questions (actually only 4), I decided to buy 6 of the markers - Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, Black. I love all of them but I think purple is a complete waste of money. Should've bought orange! :( But I believe it's $16.80 well-spent!
